Mobile drum wood chipper

During the past years we’ve accomplished our goal of realizing mobile drum chipping technology successfully, improve it continuously and meet the standard and requirements of such a machine. Additionally, we elaborated and realized different ideas and concepts: The woodchip ejection, for example, can be effected by both a 360-degree turnable belt conveyor and a spinning wheel that carries the material outside through a curved ejector. Also with regard to the drive mechanism we have the possibility to use the truck’s engine directly (lateral construction) or a separate diesel engine (lengthwise construction). All feeder chain conveyors, feeder rolls, or conveying screws used on our Holzmatic mobile wood drum chipper have their own hydraulic drive. Of course, the mobile wood chipper produces short as well as long wood chips.
